How long until CH7 "settles" on Credit Report?

My wife and I figure we'd wait until January to check our credit reports and scores since being discharged from our CH7 in September. I was wondering if that would be enough time to let the CH7 "settle" on our credit reports or if we should give it a little more time.

No reason to wait. It shows up right a way. Plus if you go through annualcreditreport.com you can pull 1 report through each Bureau. Pull one now and you can pull the others later if you want.
