We were discharged 12/24/2010 by mid January I responded to a pre approved offer from capital one and was given a small card. Today I was approved for a second card through them with a higher limit. I know, I know, new credit is bad but my bankruptcy was due to emergency surgery and no health insurance. Never had a problem before with managing credit. So yes, there is life after chapter 7 people.
