    Credit Repair Companies

Does anyone have any advice about credit repair companies? I've been doing some research because I still have many problem accounts on my credit reports, and I am too busy to deal with it. Do these credit repair companies have better success rates than what I could do on my own, or are they a waste of money? Any advice would be appreciated.

waste of money, i had a 494/513/530 score. this was after my bk. here it is 3 months later and i just topped the 630 mark. do it your self and if you need letters let me know i have plenty.

I would start with TransUnion. They are pretty simple because you can do your disputes online.

If you dispute with TransUnion online you don't have to have any letters. They have a form you just fill out. Basically what you do is type in a creditors name and then check the appropriate box (not your account, paid, iib, etc...).

Thanks. You said u had plenty of letters. Why did u have to use letters? I went on transunion last night and did some disputing. Like I stated before it after bankruptcy it seems like our credit have got worst. My husband was able to get a 2006 ram with no problem and continously get offers inthe mail but I don't. I would like to get our scores uo so he can refinance the new vehicle. And maybe in a year buy a house. Any info you give me with be appreciated.

Yes he comes first on ours. Althought there are chargeoff that Im not quite sure if we should dispute or not. Because there is conflicting information on the internet as to wheather or not ir both IIB and Charge OFF should be on there.

                  charge offs

yes now most of my creditors have posted that the accounts are charged off i heard that that is illegal ,they posted them as charged off after the bankruptcy and have not put that they were included in bankruptcy.
