NOTE: What I mean by hard credit pull is one in which it counts against your score.
I have just gone through my credit reports and I've noticed quite a few hard credit pulls that should not be there. It seems that the individual needs to contact the creditor to have those pull removed. OK, so I'm in the process of doing that, but especially since some of the creditors were ones that I had defaulted on (and the pulls were done right after filing BK), I have a feeling that I am going to have some ornery creditors who will not want to help. Is there any way I can force them to because of the BK filing? What about going back to the credit reporting agency - is there a regulation that allows me to ultimately force them to do so?
