Does anyone think the new federal consumer protection agency that is supposed to start up in July will be able to help people with credit reporting problems. I have two issues:
1. Verizon Wireless is reporting for up to 7 years that they lost $59 in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year but refuses to report any of my other payment history pre and post BK. I am still a customer of theirs
2. Chase is reporting "chargeoffs" after the date I filed the Chapter 7. I have complained to the OCC(Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) about this but they are stalling to do NOTHING.
Any comments on the above or the new agency I think will be useful to the members of this forum.
