I thought everyone was joking when they talked about a 'hooters' card. Apparently not! I've never been to hooters and probably never will. After all, you're not going to get laid by the chicks prancing around in front of you, its just a tease. But I'll take a mastercard, so I just now applied.

ha-who would have thought Hooters had a credit card.....my husband would think it was the coolest, but I would probably be embarassed to take it out of my wallet!! LOL

I applied because I don't have a major credit card yet...

I was discharged end of February, so hopefully they will approve me, because then I have my 3 positive trade lines going...

Target- I got 200 limit and I am buying shampoo, soap, and other essentials there and paying off right away each month.

Cato- Buying one shirt or one pant a month for spring, and paying off each month.

Hooters- if I get it, this will be my gas card, and pay off each month.

So, I will be boosting credit buying things I would have to buy anyway, and paying it off... here is hoping that hooter's is good to me...

Anyone know what credit report they pull?

Yes the only one that is stinky is experian... They have all delinquent reporting instead of just iib... I have been working on getting letters out to clean it up...

My TU score from Truecredit.com is 674, so thats a good sign... I will let you know if the approve me...

Hmmm... Tempted to apply, but I'll wait and see some more replies first! These days, you could use the card enough to show activity and never have to hand it to a cashier... Buy something online, or swipe it for a pay-at-the-pump gas station!

Exactly what I am going to do, it will be my gas card, and as soon as my score goes up I will get rid of it... I am not sure how I would explain why I have a Hooter's card...

And I definetly dont want to say, "I filed bankrupcty and this was the only major credit card that would approve me..."

I will let you know ASAP their decision from my application. I just did it today and it told me 7-10 days to hear something...

Looks like the people who got approved for a Hooters Card were at least at 600 with TU.

For those who are wondering, there are no photos or anything racy onthe card.
It just says Hooters with the owl eyes on it in orange, and the card is black.

Hooter's..............yay!!! I applied for this card, and to my suprise, I was approved with a limit of $1000. My HIGHEST card ever. I am totally shocked. I read this thread over the weekend, and thought what the heck!!! I just found out tonight that I was approved. WOW!!!!

Okay.........I hope I'm not the only FEMALE that has applied for this card. I have NEVER set foot in a Hooter's, and I probably never will. Okay ladies......those that have applied and got approved, please chime in so I won't be feeling embarrassed at this point!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
