we pulled my husbands credit report back in Janurary to fix his negative info its been 2 years this month since we filed. And in sept it will be 2 years since discharge.. anyways we cleaned up both of his other reports. But equifax has been giving us trouble.. thigns we fixed back in January are still showing negative even though they sent an email with the udpated report showing the changes.. new stuff came up that we forgot to dispute but we now disputed it and now a creditor that was IIB is going from a $0 balance to a $2974 balance and shown as charged off and last date of reporting this was 04/2011. Its sooo frustrating. Anyone else have problems with creditors doing this?? All of them seem clueless when he calls to tell them they need to change it. Its just on equifax. TU and Experian show $0 balance on these accounts.

Thanks Frogger, Im royaly pissed with them and some of the creditors who keep reporting/changing. I dont get why on TU and Experian everything is fine but they keep reporting negatively to experian gahhhh ill have hubby keep disputing. It sucks! but I guess thats what comes along with bk. Also frustrated that's 2 years later things aren't fixed.. we thought everything after bk would show up correctly we waited along time to finally be brave enough to check our credit.

Equifax is a catastrophy. They also love to delete your older tradelines - no matter if they are positive or not. I lost 8 accounts (7 of them were positive, including 3 paid of auto-loans where I wasn't even late a single time). Now it almost looks like my credit-history with them started with a BK. The strange thing is though that mu score is still higher than on TU which shows all accounts.Filed CH7 9/24/2010, 341 on 10/28/2010, Disch.&Closed: 1/6/2011. FICO EX: 9/2: 672.

Interesting... I find Experian to be the most difficult to deal with and basically ignore that bureau now. I would make sure anything you do from here on out is done in writing and snail mail with certified return receipts. Send copies of emails etc and be persistent. If the Credit Bureau keeps saying its "verified", in writing, then you have some fire to shoot at the creditor directly. There are some sample letters that you can find on another forum. One is called a "Jack Attack" letter. You should be able to google that and find some hits. "WhyChat" (that's a person's handle) also has some good sample letters and there is a site called "WhyChat's Credit Confusion" that has some good sample letters there as well.BK Ch 7 Discharged 09/2009 | Anything I say can and should be used as friendly advice and sharing of experiences with an unbiased viewpoint.

I've noticed EQ has recently been posting balances in my collection accounts. One has been there (even after dispute) for a while. The others the balance just went from 0 back to the pre-BK balance. It's funny because in my 3-bureau report they show up as reported on all 3 reports, but only EQ is showing a balance. I was also wondering if it is an EQ thing and not the creditor.Filed pro se (ch 7, no asset) 10/27/09
