Question on Disputing Joint Mortgage Accounts?

My wife and I are both joint on our mortgage and HELOC accounts with Bank of America. Both loans were discharged through our Chapter 7 BK and are still showing balances. We never signed a reaffirmation agreement on either of these two loans. I called the BK department at Bank of America and tried to explain to them that they were reporting these two loans with balances and they should be reported as IIB with a 0 balance. It was like talking to a wall. I guess my question is, seeing that we are both on the two loans, should we both dispute these with separate letters to the three bureaus or should only one of us dispute this seeing that both of us have the same information? Any help in this would be great. Thanks

You should both dispute this with the 3 credit bureaus. Bank of america is horrible. Their still showing a charge off on a c.c. we had 2 years ago that was IIB. Its only showing that way with one credit bureau but yes they are stupid and dispute it til they change it. You should also tell them their going against the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
