Our Chapter 7 was discharged last summer, and we elected not to reaffirm our mortgage. I noticed that our bank has reported it as 30 days past due three times since the discharge. (It may have been, although I could swear it is caught up now, but that's really a totally separate question.)
My question here is, since the mortgage was IIB, should they be reporting on it to the credit bureaus? I've seen other posts where people are frustrated that their timely payments don't count to their advantage, so shouldn't the reverse be true as well? Mind you, I'm not advocating late payments by any means...the collections guy I've worked with at the bank said that we were caught up. I'm just not sure he's the sharpest tack over there...
