    My Credit Report

    Hi Everyone,

I was discharged from Chapter 7 back in Oct 2010. I pulled my credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus - Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Both Equifax and TransUnion have accurate reporting, all my accounts show up 0. But on Experian, there is one account that still shows open and overdue. This account should have been closed along with rest of my accounts. I have submitted a dispute for it already. Does anyone know how long it's going to take Experian to correct that? After they corrected it, how much will it affect my current score? Will it help it or not really make much of difference due to the fact that my report says Bankrupt?

Oh and should I wait for my credit report to reflect the corrected information before I start to apply for a credit card? I have not applied for any credit cards since my discharge, but started researching about it last month. Will it make a difference in the amount I will be approved for?

Also, I have a question about positive and negative accounts. All my accounts were discharged and closed. I noticed that the credit report will say that there 10 accounts in negative reporting which are the ones that have been discharged. And it also says 8 accounts in positive standing, but the 8 in positive standing are also the same accounts in the negative. Now, why doesn't say all 10 are in positive, only 8? Why are the other 2 not in the positive as well?

    Thanks!
