    Incorrect reporting on Credit Report

I filed BK around the 29th of Nov and in that month I didn't pay my car payment which was due on Nov 26 because I wasn't keeping it. Now I've pulled my CR since I'm almost discharged and have discovered they are reporting that I'm 60 days late or more. What can I do?

If you were never late before you filed and they are reporting you late AFTER your filing date then you can fight the entry after you're discharged. You will most likely have lots of clean up to do and some of it may not be easy. I would wait till after discharge though to start disputing your trade lines. You can start disputing with the credit bureaus directly first, then if the accounts come back verified you will need to start fighting with the original creditors.

Also, do not base your trade lines on third party services that you pull your report from. The only reports you should be looking at (for dispute purposes) should come directly from the credit bureaus and only paper copies that they send in the mail. Not from online. Many of these third party credit pulling services can interpret credit bureau codes inaccurately and even though you see a late or a charge off, it may not ACTUALLY be that way.
