Clarification on charge-off accounts on credit report?

Since I got my discharge, I have started the process of cleaning up my credit reports. Most creditors were reporting accurately but I submitted a few disputes. I have one question: almost all of my accounts went to CA's, so in essence are listed twice, once as a charge-off and once with the CA. The charged off accounts report as 0 balance, account transferred or sold. Should these accounts also report as IIC? I found another thread on the topic but need a little more clarification, since technically "charge off" is accurate. Should I continue to dispute these OC accounts?

    Thanks so much!

This is a good question indeed and I'm curious as well. Experian reports the original accounts as "IIB" as well but the other two don't...

What I'm concerned about is the fact that a potential creditor could still believe that there is something owed if it lacks the "IIB"-notation.
    Filed CH7 9/24/2010, 341 on 10/28/2010, Disch.&Closed: 1/6/2011. FICO EX: 9/2: 672.
    FICO EQ: pre-filing: 573, After BK Public Record: 568, 10/3: 673.
    FICO TU: pre-filing: 589, After BK Public Record: 563, 9/2: 706.

That is my concern as well. I disputed a few other CA accounts that weren't yet reporting IIB and both Experian and TransUnion changed them immediately. As a test, I disputed the OC accounts with Equifax since all the CA accounts were reported accurately with them. Those accounts with Equifax now say "customer disputing, re-investigation in process". Does re-investigation mean the OC refused to change it already?

I'd say it means what it says - the re-investigation is still in process. It often takes a while before the creditor responds to a dispute.
