Does anyone have this card? Sure seems spendy. $150 annual fee? My husband and I each got an offer (I got 2) for $500 and $700 limit. I am not spending $150 annually for a credit card. Seems to just set people up to go down the same road.

We were also recently discharged (12/28) and have received a similar offer from First Premier - $500 limit with $100 annual fee. I think I will wait for something better to come along. I know we all want to start rebuilding our credit, but this does not seem to be the way!Filed Ch 7 Sept '10, 341 Meeting Oct '10, Discharged Dec '10, Case Closed Jan '11

OTF, yes it is kind of ridiculous! I mean, they make $100- $150 off of every card (the $150 was for my husband's $700 limit) They are making money hand over fist, off of people like all of us. I want a card but will pass on this offer for a better one. If that never comes, I'll wait it out.Filed Chapter 7 October 5, 2010 -341 held Nov. 8, 2010- Report of No Distribution Nov. 12th, 2010- Discharged 1-10-2011 Closed 1-28-2011

I just got a pre-approved offer in the mail from First Premier yesterday and it went directly into the garbage. Any outfit that sends offers like this to folks like me (I am not even discharged yet...and am unemployed!) is not someone I would ever do business with!Filed Ch 7 Pro Se 11-18-2010 341 Meeting 12-16-2010 Discharged 2-15-2011

I received an offer from them a couple of days ago, limit $500 minus initial fee of $100. If I'm not mistaken, I BK'd them as well - or their collection agency.
The offer is valid until the 24th. Let's see if I get any better offers...Filed CH7 9/24/2010, 341 on 10/28/2010, Disch.&Closed: 1/6/2011. FICO EX: 9/2: 672.

I got one of those today. I laughed at it because I just got a no annual fee, 0 interest until October 2011 and of course 22.5% interest after. I figure the interest rate isn't so bad since I will charge one bill on it, write a check out and deduct it from my checking and then send it off when my credit card bill comes. I would never pay an annual fee, plus processing fee. The 700 dollar limit ends up being less than 550 by the time they're done hitting you with fees. No Thank You. My husband and I both got one. It was for a $500 credit limit, with a $150 annual fee, a one time processing fee of $75 and then more additional fees on top of that. The interest rate was 36%. We threw them away. We were already approved for the Orchard Bank credit card with only a $59 annual fee. We will pay that completely off as soon as we get the first bill. Then we will only use the card for gas once a month and pay it off immediately.

I would stay away from them! They have sent me 3 offers: with $125 annual fee, $150 annual fee, and even a $175 annual fee! This is on top of the processing fees etc. ad nauseum. No thanks! There are better offers out there. These guys are sharks feasting on our misfortunes.Filed BK 7 Pro Se: August 2010 341 Meeting: September 2010
