1st Goof up-5 years Post BK :( - Question regarding capital one

I had my first goof up! Forgot to pay cap 1 credit card. It was due on Nov. 8 and I paid it today online--will go through tomorrow.

Does anyone know if that will go on my credit report as a late payment or does it have to be over 30 days to be reported as late?

Don't fret none. It won't show up as late. 30 is the mark to watch for. Good going for still paying it early enough.

You will get a late fee but it will not show up on your credit reports as it has to be over 30 days late.

Call and ask if they can waive the late fee. If this is your first offense you have a chance. The worst thing they can do is say no.

This happened to my husband one time. Call them and tell them that the payment was made and if they can waive the fee. Since it's the first time they will most likely do it for you.
