I did everything I could think of with our mortgage... but they were not helpful. I purchased a condo in 2007 for 250k ...normal mortgage... no crazy back office under the table loans... just standard conventional. I had 60k in equity in the home when I bought it. Then in less than 2 years the value dropped over 150k. It was not pretty... I was keeping it and renting it out despite the market but then after being unemployed for 8 months and no unemployment money... it didn't look good... :P

we did also...everything possible...nothing worked...and actually while awaiting the answer on loan mod we were served foreclosure papers...nice...it said answer in 30 days or out you go...after 33 years we packed in and out we went...left the state.

here's the kicker...we get our bk discharged who comes a calling....the bank...wanting to know what our intentions were.......the house has been vacate over 2 years want to guess. so then chase tells me that someone re-opened our loan mod application a day after our discharge. I THINK NOT!!

yes, i lost my job first because of being sick...then my other half lost his and that was it...in a blink of an eye we were down the tubes.

unreal...your wedding rings!!! there was a thread yesterday that the trustee attempted to seize someone's engagement ring at the 341!!!

i'm SURE you just pulled your rings right off your fingers and just handed them right on back to good old Kay Jewelers!!

me too!! ...but soon i have to go soon, so i can put on my BLACK fairy costume...my next door neighbor lent me her kid so i can go treat or treating...LOL!!!!! i can't wait!!
