    b2s...really you think...were the heck are they going to make up the "white collar" jobs....???? i mean this idea about developing jobs by recreation or creation of the infrastructure is not new...but it limits who gets the jobs...certainly not u or i....right??? i'm thinking more like at least 5-10 years...and even then we will never recover the tech jobs or jobs like u and i had.....i also (which in this case may help you) do not see our home prices rising anytime soon....actually all those inflated equity ridden homes will most likely never been seen again.

    if anyone really thinks carefully good old allen greenspan should have perhaps given those record low interest a second thought or two??? maybe....we never ever hear his name on this site...however, for most of us that are in the field he had much more to do with today's financial situation that most realize.....just my opinion after a grey goose...LOL!!!!!

      Maybe employment has improved a tiny bit in certain pockets, regionalized, but not on a national scale by any means.

          I think employment will not improve significantly for years. Certain sectors are improving but I agree nationally we are not improving.

            unemployment is going to continue to go higher - its awful. I dont know why they (news) totes everything as "rosy" when it isnt. Sad state we're all in here in the US
