i have been purposely holding off getting our FICA scores and looking at our credit reports for at least 3 months after the discharge date.
i just wanted to make certain we took advantage of our FREE report to the max., and allow time for everything to "catch" up.
well...we just renewed our auto insurance with a new company and i was hoping someone could help me interrupt what the heck this stuff means!! i will be contacting the BIG 3 in a couple of days to request the reports as this notification says we have 60 days from the date of their inquiry to obtain free copies...it says as follows:
1. average credit limit on all retail accounts is less than $300
2. no open bank credit card accounts
3. ratio of mortgage accounts to total accounts is between 6% and 20%...(i'm REAL confused about this one??)
4. no bank credit card applications in the previous 12 months but 1 more in the past 24 months.
(which is absolutely NOT true, we applied for NO new credit for at least 4 years?).
sooooooo this is our VERY first news about what we look like after our discharge....any thoughts???
thanks!
