I have a medical bill and an electric bill (from our house in another state). The medical bill isn't on our credit reports at all and the electric is reported as current.
We filed 9/10/10 for Chapter 7,both of these bills are included, will they just show up as included in our BK on our credit report only as they can't report anything after filing as far as being late etc. Or could they not be reported at all?
I also was wondering about the effects of medical bills being included in BK- does that effect future medical care as far as billing for procedures etc, like will we come up as people who didn't pay in the past?
Electric bills- this one is in another state, we are current with the electric company we are using now but if we move and get service at another home will they pull our history and require a deposit because of this other electric bill being BK'd? I've heard electric companies can charge a deposit but I didn't know if it was due to credit score or that you didn't pay an electric company before.
