    Lexington Law

I was doing some online research to see options regarding cleaning up my credit report after discharge and came upon a company called Lexington Law. They claim to be able to get alot if not all of the negative entries off your credit report including lates, judgements and in some cases bankruptcy entries.

Does anyone have any experience with this or a similar type of firm? Was it positive or negative. They have three plans but average about $60 per month.

If you do a forum search as to Lexington Law or check the scam listings on the internet, you will find that all Lexington Law does is continually dispute the information that is on your credit reports so that it temporarily stays off of your credit reports. When an item is disputed, the CRA's remove it temporarily from one's record and it is put back on when corrected/verified and it is done withinn a specific timeline (I believe it is 45 days). Continually disputing an item will keep it off of there but it will eventually return. Lexington Law just keeps disputing for its clients. It cannot remove bankruptcy information nor can it remove bankruptcy public records. It's the dispute that keeps it off one's records temporarily. It all eventually shows back up. The only thing that will eliminate bankruptcy information on one's credit reports is time...10 years after the filing date if a Chapter 7 and 7 years after the filing date for Chaper 13. Some people do themselves what Lexington does for nothing, but they eventually find out that the information will return = it's only a matter of time...
