Question about how account is reporting

I have one account that is reporting as follows (not reported at all on TU). It seems to me that stating both Chargeoff or Collection and BANKRUPTCY CHAPTER 7 is a double whammy. I have disputed it over and over to have them report it just as IIB, but it hasn't changed. Is the way it's reporting correct?

If those accounts were actually in collection or charged of PRIOR to your BK-filing, that status is reported correctly. However, you wrote "Balance: - -". Make sure that the balance is actually reported as $0. That does make a difference - a blank field hurts your score.

Thanks so much for that info! We have several accounts that are showing a blank field. Is that just for the balance status?

I have simular issues with my CRs, some balances don't show 0 and I have two accounts that show BK Ch 7 and also Charge-off (they were current before filing BK, so I'm going after getting that off the CRs). Can accounts that were Bk'd still show the high balance and credit limits? Also, can they still keep updating month after month since my discharge?

I'm not sure on the balance and limits, but all of ours did quit reporting after discharge. We reaffirmed our house & vehicle, and both of them even quit reporting. I'm still trying to get them to all reflect that we paid them off, not including them in our bk.

I, too, am having issues with several accounts having no balance being reported (showing blank) but only on TU. This makes me believe the issue is with TU. I plan to use the online method to dispute all these issues. I will report back when I hear back from them.
