    Discharged - Time to rebuild

I kept my car and my student loans through the BK. I pulled my credit report from Equifax to start and also my FICO. I was happy to see that the auto & student loans are still reporting correctly and my FICO was 624.

Is it necessary for me to get any other credit at this point (credit card) or will these two tradelines alone rebuild my score? They are both autopay and never been late or had any negative info posted.

Also I am expecting another child and thinking that I may want to get a larger vehicle down the road...new hubby and I want to buy it together but I am worried that my BK with be a problem. Does anyone know if he is the primary and I am secondary if my BK would be an issue? His credit is clean and never had any adverse issues...

Time will help your credit score most, but getting a credit card will certainly accelerate your potential improvement.

As far as the car loan goes, your bankruptcy will definitely impact the rate that your husband could get just by himself.

Thank you Bob. I will def seek out one credit card just to help the process along. I figured my BK would prob be a thorn in the rate but figured I would ask any how. He can buy it by himself we just wanted to continue to rebuild my credit.
