To cancel or not to cancel?

Hubby and I have each had a Premier CC since July 2009.
Hubby's has a credit limit of $300 w/ 20.15% APR (thanks new CC laws!)
Mine has a credit limit of $250 w/ 20.15% APR
    Each of these has a $48 annual fee & a $7 a month fee.

We have never been late on payments and have paid them off in full every month.

We were each approved last month for Best Buy cards.
    Hubby's has a credit limit of $500 w/ 17.99% APR
Mine has a credit limit of $4000 w/ 17.99% APR
Neither of these have any fees etc on them.

I'm really wanting close the premier cards. I'm not happy with their customer service or fees. BUT, since we do have a good credit history with them and these were the first accounts we opened after we discharged I'm wondering how closing them will affect our credit.

Has anyone done this? How did it look on your credit report/scores?

***NO need to reply about "credit addiction is alive" etc...everyone has their owe reasons for applying for cards and/or needing to improve their credit scores*** Thanks much
