B of A is reporting 30 days past due, on 3 different accounts that were not 30 days past due when I filed. I have disputed 3 times with Experian and all three times it comes back as verified. The third dispute was done in writing, certified mail, return receipt requested, and proof sent that the accounts were showing as due AFTER the filing date. I also included proof of filing date. (for example CC due 25th, I filed on the 7th *before due date* Statement shows previous months payment received) Experian still reported it back as verified. *sigh*
I have another Chase CC that is reporting as charged off in September, when I filed in August. After disputing, I am not getting anything cleared up.
Think it is time to contact a lawyer or is there something else I should try first?
