I filed CH 7 last August and was discharged in January. I'm looking at my Equifax credit report for the first time right now and am a bit confused. Hoping someone can answer a couple questions for me.
1) In the "Current Status" section of each of my credit card accounts it says "Included in Bankruptcy". In the "Comments" section, however, most say "Bankruptcy chapter 7, Account closed by credit grantor," while a few say "Bankruptcy chapter 7, Bankruptcy discharged." Does the wording in the Comments section matter?? (None of my accounts were closed by the grantors prior to filing.)
2) I did a ride through on my vehicle but that account is showing as open and "Pays as agreed". "Date Reported" shows last month, with a balance listed that was correct at that time. Also, in the "81-month Payment History" section, it shows pays as agreed for each month since I got the loan in 2008.
It was my understanding that a ride through would show as closed and IIB, so I'm surprised to see it showing as open. Will it likely remain listed that way? (Again, I've been discharged since January.) If so, that's a good thing, right??
Thanks in advance for your help!
