    Orchard approved for 500.00!

I am about 3 weeks since discharge. I am in no hurry for any kind of credit but I wanted at least one line to start the rebuild. I went to the Orchard site and clicked on the secured card, I filled it all out and at the end it said to print the page and mail in with at least 200.00.....so I'm thinking I will send them my money and won't even know if I'm approved?! (I discharged a few HSBC accounts also...) so I thought they might just keep my money

So I went back to the bkforum and looked up all the stuff about Orchard. I kept reading about how a pre approval would come up, it didn't when I was filling out the application. I went back to their site and started over again without picking a card this time, I followed all the way threw and it was approved non secured for 500.00.... So I guess I will tear up the secured application I have in an envelope with the security deposit

Just out of curiosity, what are the fee's associated with the card you got approved on?

39.00 Dollars a year for the card the interest rate is really high, but I would pay it off before the due date if I were to use it.
