our close date was 2/25 for chapter 7. No complications...mostly credit cards. Reaffirmed both cars, mortgage and home equity. We also held on to our gas credit card...and one small bank credit card we have had since 2001 with only a $500 limit.
The minute our bankruptcy closed...we started using both gas and regular cards again...paying them off monthly. We also paid off one car loan.
I just pulled my credit reports today (not fico yet)...and noticed every collection agency that was listed on there last year is completely gone...not on any of the credit reports. Also 3 credit cards are completely gone...some of them were listed as charged off. I still have BOA listed as bankruptcy...HSBC listed on one report in bankruptcy and on one listed as closed paid on time (????)..And Chase listed as charged off bad debt that I closed the account....even though they sold it to collection agency that was not listed anymore.
But also noticed that my car loans are missing completely on every report that was also there last year. My report shrunk dramatically.
I still have negative stuff (two lines of credit that were paid off before with like one or two 30 late payments over years...) and the few things I was listed...but now makes me wonder on filing for bankruptcy...it looks like we did over just one or two accounts...rather then numerous accounts and medical bills that collection agencies had.
Is this common??? tons of missing stuff bad and good?
