    Please....Online Disputing is just fine.

Completed Experian disputes and in less than a month all is fixed. Might want to update some of the stickies around here.

That is a good idea. I did an Experian dispute online in late February and it has since been fixed. Now my credit reports look accurate. Will check them again this summer.

Online disputing is the only way to go. Everything that you dispute is required to be answered on line. The system works.

I have no problems with the online disputing either.

Not everyone has success disputing online. Also, many times copies of documents are required to be mailed into the CRAs to prove your dispute. You cannot do that online. If it works for you, that's fine; it will not work for everyone. Keep a watch over your changes for the next several months...many times it will revert back to the old information you previously disputed...

For simple disputes such as getting IIb accounts to report with no balance, online disputing can work, but often a CA or a junk debt buyer (such as asset acceptance) or some bottom feeding lawyer will report lates that do not get cleared up, or will report an account as open and late when it should be closed and IIb, or will report the account as charged off last month when it was closed in your bankruptcy, and that can really hurt your credit score. Often these CA's verify incorrect info with the credit bureaus and the only way to get your report fixed is to write to the CA's directly.
