    How to deal with this?

I'm not sure what kind of game WFNNB is trying to play, but I got this alert today:

    Business Name: WFNNB/FASHION BUG
    Account Status: CHARGE-OFF
    Status Date: 02/25/2010
    Balance Amount: $614
    Balance Date:

When I checked my report, it shows the following:

    FASHION BUG/SOANB
    Account Number: 600466921204XXXX
Acct Type: Credit Card - Revolving Terms
    Acct Status: Closed
    Monthly Payment:
    Date Open: 11/1/2002
    Balance: $0.00
    Terms: Revolving
    High Balance: $743.00
    Limit: $600.00
    Past Due:
Payment Status: Debt included in or discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 7, 11, or 12
Comments: Transferred to another lender or claim purchased

I'm not sure what's going on, but Fashion Bug's card used to be backed by SOANB (Spirit of America National Bank). According to the discharge paper, it's showing it as WFNNB. Since this is clearly not correct, what are my steps? I've been picking at my report and other than the items that were included in the bankruptcy, I haven't been all that aggressive in getting things cleaned up.

I'm not sure what your problem is? It says debt included in Bankruptcy....

      Isn't that what you want?

Like Logan mentioned, I am not sure what exactly you were looking for, but if it has to do with the name change of your creditor, here is what I noticed. Maybe that is why you received the alert and the name was a little different. But if you wanted this debt in your bk, then that is what it appeared from your report.

Chapter 13 filer since Feb. 2018 under a 60 months payment plan
Please think positive and do not give up!

The problem is that I have two different creditors claiming the same debt, and the one that was IIB (WFNNB) is now claiming that the debt was charged off; according to my discharge paper, it was not. Does that clear it up a little?
