    How Credit report should report

Hi everyone, I am not sure if this is where I should post questions about Credit Report. I just was emailed about an Alert on report...... This is what is says:
    (ALERT BY EXPERIAN)
    Company: AFNI, INC.
    Balance Date:
    Current Balance: $0
    Status Date: 3/21/2010
Payment Status: CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY DISCHARGED
    Company Phone: 8882162408
    Company Address: PO BOX 3427

    BLOOMINGTON, IL 617023427

But. when I review the report it self it still say balance due is......
Will that part update as well or will the balance remain on the report.

    Thank you!

I think it takes a little time to catch up, but once you receive your discharge papers and if it still remains, you just need to send copies to all 3 credit bureaus and it will be handled. Don't worry, you are discharged! Congrats! =)

If you were recently discharged it takes about 3 months or so for everything to somewhat catch up. Give it a while and pull your reports about 3 months after your discharge date. Then start cleaning up if not all is reporting correctly.
