Cleaning up credit report, need help.

Hello to everyone. I have been lurking around this forum for some time and have found the information here most helpful. I am currently in Chapter 13 and will finally see the end in July of this year. I pulled a copy of my credit report today to begin to start cleaning things up and found a few things I want to ask. Please forgive me if they have been asked before, I am very sorry if I am repeating a question. First, Looking at my TransUnion report I see that many of my accounts (8) are reporting Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, Wage Earner or similar plan and are showing a balance. TransUnion is the lowest of my scores at this time at 580; where it has been for almost a year as my other scores have gone up 661 with Equifax and 656 with Experian.
I know from reading the boards that my accounts should be showing $0 balance, but I think I read somewhere that "Wage Earner" should not be there? Any help that you can give will be appreciated.

I don't think the "wage earner" comment is a problem. It must be how the reporting creditors are referring to a chapter 13. After all, chapter 13 is also known as the Wage Earner bankruptcy.

As for the balances; I suppose, technically, until you receive your discharge, the balances need not reflect zero. But no harm is disputing.

My credit reports have combinations of "Included or Discharged in Chapter 7, 11, 13 Bankruptcy", "Included in Bankruptcy", and "Wage Earner Plan". The "Wage Earner Plan" seems to be what Equifax calls a Chapter 13.
      Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
