I'm about to be discharged and I have pulled a copy of my credit report. I need to find out if there is any way to remove the hard inquiries that I didn't authorize?
Over the last two years, I stopped having contact with my creditors since I got tired of them calling all the time so I simply stopped all communications with them. Consequently they made dozens of hard inquiries that are now on my credit reports. Is there any way to get these removed, or did I "give" them permission since I had an open account with them and they could make the inquiries anytime they wanted to?
I would appreciate an answer to this since one collection agency did this as late as last month after they were notified of my BK, and I'm just waiting to contact them about this after my discharge is granted.
