Quizzle.com - Free Credit report

Haven't seen this posted here before so thought i'd share. This website offers a free credit report from experian once every 6 months, also they offer a sample budget, etc.. I think it is associated with quicken somehow.

I signed up and you don't need to put in a credit card number or anything, it really is free. Not sure if the credit report is the full thing though, I couldn't find any of my accounts listed as IIB, some show as CO , which the legend says is collection. it does show all accounts though and public records, etc..

I've read good and bad things about Quizzle. Some consider it a semi-scam while others love it. However, any site that can obtain your credit report without using your social security number makes me want to run and hide - what else can they do with the information they glean from you? This site is tied into Experian and only uses Experian reports and the FICO is an approximation not the actual score.

One can expect to receive all sorts of offers if joining that site due to the information that needs to be provided and remember nothing is actually free.
