    My credit line was just...increased?

I received a letter in the mail today from Juniper Bank. They increased my credit line. How's that for strangeness. I've had the card since 2007. I was expecting the letter to say, we have lowered your credit line. Anyone else had this happen?

Quite interesting to hear that since you filed in 2005.

I was surprised myself to say the least...it's my second card that I acquired about 9 mo. after discharge. My credit was outstanding prior to bk; my payments to them have, of course, always been on time & way above the minimum.

You are being rewarded for your good, prudent and wise use of credit after filing. The key is that you are not being late with anything and I am assuming have not been applying for a lot of credit. Remember, just because they gave you an increase does not mean that you have to use it! :-) Watch their tactics...

Really makes you wonder doesn't it. In the words of Homer Simpson:

              D'oh!

The real question is how many people fall for it?

HA! I wish my credit cards would increase my limits, especially around this time. It would be nice for Christmas...BUT, all I seem to keep getting are letters for a rate increase...I think I have gotten one for every card now, INCLUDING TARGET! LOL
