There IS life after bankruptcy... just remember...
That life is not determined by having to have credit!
Filed 8/08 - Discharged 11/08! Not tracking FICO.
Pre-Bankruptcy Net Worth: -$72,000... Today's net worth: $142,000.
If your FICO score just went higher than your net worth, and you are happy about this, you might have a financial problem!
You are right. I am NOT jumping back into cc debt after my discharge. It is like being addicted to something or a bad bad habit. I will never "go back" to cc debt. I don't care what my scores say either. I have my home and two cars and my 5th wheel for my second residence and I am NOT messing my fresh start up with same ole' cc debt mistakes.
I have been reborn and do not want to revisit bk ever again.............
(first 341 10/14/09, cont'd 341 10/23/09) (12/14/09 last day to object) (341 Shows HELD w/tt report of no distribution 1/9/2010)

Also, I have read in past posts at other forums/sites that once you do a bk that person will revisit bk again in their lifetime IF they do not "get it in their heads" to make huge changes in their spending habits..................if they donn't learn then they are abusing the system. I have no sympathy for someone that revisits a bk a second time if it is due to pure ignorance and financial suicide.
