my 1st credit card offer

First of all, credit cards is not why we filed...and we are not discharged as of yet...

But just for kicks..
PFB sent me a "pre-approved" letter for one of there "platnium cards" wow I open it up and it looks great 9.9% apr 5% rebate....

so I then look at the fees list.. if i was approved for $250 and got an extra card then... I would have an availablity of $51 dollars..

I am soooo not doing this.. but laughed at it... No matter how bad i want to rebuild our credit... its so not the card for us....

In short... make sure you look at the fees on any offers...and make sure to use responsibile!

Was this a "primier" card? I got that same offer before I was discharged! When I read the fine print, I had like a $250 limit, but will all the fees tacked on, I had like $50 left....crazy...went straight to the shredder!

yes.. it was premier.. I thought it was funny...

I got one recently that said they would review your account monthly for credit line increases. Increases would be done in $50 increments and that there is a $25 fee for each increase.....uh I think NOT! I may have filed bankruptcy but I'm not an idiot.

Dh got one of those also. I mailed it back and told them to cancel. That's ridiculous!
