I know this question has probably been asked before but I couldn't find it in a search.
We are doing a ride through on our first and second mortgages. Both are reporting IIB on CR but both are showing balances. I subscribed to MY FICO and the FICO score tools seems to display the balances as past due (although the actual CR report says pays on time).
Is it good or bad to leave the balances on the CR? Since we are making payments and they are reporting on time payments but the account is still marked as negative since we didn't reaffirm. Is it better to dispute the listing and have them report a zero balance or leave as is to show the positive payments (or does this not even count since the accounts are IIB)?
**The mortgages are in my name only. My FICO from Transunion is 50 points lower than my husband's - could this be because of the balances listed? Both were relative the same right after discharge.
EDIT** I think I answered my question. I ordre Equifax score and it is 60 points hire than Transunion and the mortgages are showing zero balances IIB. Guess I'll dispute Transunion.
