    dispute equifax online?

hi all, i just got discharged a couple of weeks ago, now downloaded my equifax report. most things look fine except there is one account that says it was included in bankruptcy and it has a first date of delinquency, when it's just a line of credit that was attached to my BofA checking account which i never, ever used. its balance was zero always, and that first date of "delinquency" is from after i filed bk...

i am thinking of disputing this online with equifax. is that a good idea? do i need to send things certified mail or else? i think BofA just made a mistake - all my other accounts with them are reporting correctly (all were closed but also they say paid as agreed).

also, should i be sending my dispute to equifax or to BofA?

    thanks a bunch!

Send your disputes CMRRR. They have 30 days to correct. First send to the CRA and if they do not correct, then send to BOA.

Do it in writing, not online. FWIW it is considered continued collection attempts to not report it correctly on your CR.
