Need Info on Next Steps???

Hi all,

I was discharged back in June of 2009 from a Chp. 7 BK.

However I am in the process of having my mortgage modified, I was at the time 3 months behind. So it is being reported to the agencies as past due.

In addition I have 2 car payments that have been late int he past 2 months, 1 is almost payed off I have 2500 remaining on it, the other is a lease that I have to turn in, in May of 2010.

I am concerned about what will happen with the lease vehicle in regards to my credit, I am trying to be proactive, my wife and I are employed, we are trying very hard to get finances in order.

We would very much like to keep the van at the end of the lease, but I am afraid that my payment will skyrocket if I put a2 or 3K down and finance the rest. I do belong to a CU that might help but not sure.

Oh I have yet to apply for a credit card or anything like that, we have been paying cash for everything, I like but at some point I know I will have to get one. just not sure how the mortgage will affect.

Any suggestions?

RW3, I deleted your duplicate thread asking the same questions in the Ch 7 forum.

Experience here in the forums has shown that having all your answers in one place rather than scattered across several is the best way to go. This way everyone sees what has been recommended or commented on - otherwise your duplicate threads get a lot of duplicate replies

Most of our members cruise more than one forum area so you'll still get plenty of solid replies.
