I have read that it affects your for 10-11 years, is that from the date you first file or from the discharge date?

Thanks, I filed chapter 13 in October 2004 and paid out early dec of 2008, I have a mortgage that was caught up but not paid out so I have 4 more years before that is paid and I am debt free after that but I may need some help clearing out my credit report to get my score up.Comment
