I finally got my discharge last week so Im relieved about that. Now my question is that I see a lot of people get cc offers from Capital one, Providian, Orchard Bank, etc. However, I bk'd Capital One and am wondering if they will consider me for a secured card? Anyone have experience in this? TIA

I BK'd a car and a cc with capital one and they gave me a shiny new card 4 days after discharge. I applied online without waiting for the offer and it worked fine... The terms aren't very good, $29 annual fee, 0% for 6 months and then about 20% but it serves the purpose of rebuilding.
I expected to go down the secure route, but didn't need to and my fico's were hovering somewhere around the 630's. -
Thanks for responding. My ficos are much lower so I don't have a problem with secured cc's. Just wondering if I still have that option with CO.Comment
