    cleaning credit report question

This seems strange but I sent letters to transunion for my wife and i as they were not reporting our mortgage correctly. i told them it should be a zero balance and say IIB. I also disputed two credit cards and said they should be reported the same way. Transunion ended up delteing all items from my credit report and when i pulled my annulacreditreport.com they were all gone. is this a good thing or will it effect my score as both cards were opened a long time again so show credit history?

If you recently disputed these, the items will be "hidden" until the CRA's complete their investigation, which they have 30 days to do so. If it's been longer than that, and they weren't able to get any colaberating evidence from the creditor(s) that the debt is yours and/or is reported correct or not, then the CRA's must delete the accounts. It's the law.

When did you dispute these inaccuracies?

BassBoy is correct in what he told you. We went through the same thing. Those items will reappear after the investigation and the results of the investigation given to you. If they are still incorrect, you will need to contact the creditor directly to have the creditor fix the information.

Transunion just did the same thing to our credit reports. 1st and 2nd with Countrywide were both showing open and paying as agreed even though both were discharged in Ch 7 in June 2008. They were showing as such on all three reports. I filed online disputes with all three for both mine and husband's reports early last week. Experian and Equifax both fixed both accounts correctly within a couple of days on both reports now showing IIB and zero balance. Transunion deleted both accounts from my report, deleted 2nd mortgage from husband's report and changed 1st mortgage on his to IIB/zero balance.

We both received emails from Transunion saying the dispute had been resolved. If Exp and Equi were both able to obtain correct info from CW, why wouldn't Trans have been given the same info?? What do I do now re: the Trans report/deleted accounts??

Transunion just did the same thing to us. I disputed on line my husband's report, mortgage was hitting for late charges, way after we filed, and bank that financed automobile said it was a 'charge-off bad debt' , 1 1/2 mo. after we filed so i disputed both accts and they deleted both from his report.
