    Found out something interesting

I found out yesterday that at BofA you can do a regular mortgage with them 2 years after BK with a higher rate and 4 years at a normal rate (as long as you have taken care of your credit since BK). Also, I found out that if your BK was due to medical reasons or a divorce, you can do it sooner.

I don't see myself moving anytime in the future (way upside down on house) but it was nice to find this out.

Do you know if this still applies if you surrendered a home in the bk/went thru foreclosure process?

That's good to know. Wish I could afford to take advantage of it! :-(
