I checked bankrate.com, and BAC seems to offer the best terms for a secured credit card. Their annual fee is $29.00, they report to all three credit bureaus. I'm not worried about the 15.99% interest, as I will pay it off monthly. Does anyone have experience with their secured cc or any other recommendations ?

DCU (Digital Federal Credit Union, www.dcu.org) offers no-fee secured credit cards to members.
All credit unions are limited to members of select groups. If you make a small dontation and become a member of AAPD (American Association of People with Disabilities) you can become a member of the credit union. (There's no restriction to AAPD.)
The current APR is 8.0% (Prime Rate + 3%) and there's no application or annual fees. There's also no cash advance or balance transfer fees. The only fees I notice seem to be related to overlimit and late payments and are in line with other credit cards.
There's at least one other credit union that works the same way with membership and has a great program for secured credit. After I'm discharged I expect to take advantage of this myself.Discharged November 2008 100 days after filing no-asset Chapter 7. We intended to let a two-year-old vehicle go back to the bank and reaffirm an inexpensive ten-year-old SUV and our home mortgage. In the end we surrendered ALL of our vehicles and reaffirmed NOTHING. We'll "ride through" our mortgage after the court ruled it an undue hardship.
