    Weekend Project

Well, we are 30 mos into a 60 mos 13. I decided this morning to pull my free annual credit reports (something I haven't done since we filed).

Can't spend too much time looking them over today (I'm at work) But I figured it would be a good weekend project. After what I've heard from others, it seems like it could take a while to get everything straightened out, so I thought I might as well get started.

As I said, I don't have time to look them over thoroughly right now, but at quick glance, it appears things look accurate for the most part. Which is a relief. A couple of things did stand out though.

Wells Fargo (my mortgage) appears to be reporting differently to the 3 bureaus:
Equifax - is not showing any payments being made, and no payment history, but reports the account under the "Closed Accounts" showing the right balance due, but no payment amount. It also shows Date Major Delinquency First Reported as 5/2007. (we filed in 10/05) and have never been late on a payment. Then under date of first delinquency, it says 10/2005.
TransUnion - reporting as paid or Paying as agreed has Chapt 13 bank in "remarks", and does show a 10 mos payment history (although the account is older than that) and shows each as "ok". Funny that they just seemed to report for the last 10 mos.
Experian shows - status: Petition for Chapt 13 Bankruptcy/never late. shows the monthly payment amount, and current balance, but under recent payment, it says "0".

I have 1 account which shows "charged off", with NO reference to the 13. I'll need to dispute that, of course.
I have another one which says both................."IIB/Charge off". That should be disputed, right?????

First of all...Well's Fargo. Call them and get a hold of the dept. that handles the reporting and get them straightened out, might be something in your account that was posted wrong. As for the 2 charge-offs, make certain that those creditors were included in your bankruptcy. Just look through the list on your Schedule F, if they are there, then dispute. If they are not there, contact your attorney and get them added.
