    Recommened Credit Unions for Auto Finance

    I bought a used car in August '07 after Chapter 7 BK and have been paying on it since January. I was paying $559 at %25 apr but just recently switched to Wells Fargo at $509 at %20apr

    Im not satisifed and want to see if I can get a LIVEABLE payment and apr with a credit union. Can anyone recommend a credit union to check that are "bk friendly" for refinancing

    Any Credit Union will probably offer you better rates than WellsFargo. As far as "bk friendly" is concerned, it's a crap shoot.

        Have you asked to see if you can qualify for a lower interest rate if you refinance after making timely payments for 6 months to 1 year? Capital One Auto Finance offers decent subprime rates too...give them a try.

          Capital One told me they wont refinance an existing auto loan plus they were the ones that gave me the 25%apr
