I've had equally as much luck with Equifax and TransUnion by disputing my bk. Experian won't budge though.

How did you do it? I have disputed wrong date, wrong file number, not mine. Nothing works, as it is so easy to verify for them.
Details on how you did it, please!Filed Business Chapter 7: 7/11/07

hubby's scores are high...700's now despite his other accts saying IIB and for transunion his other accts were successfully disputed off. Transunion is clean....been that way for many many months...
It may be rare, but it is possible. Didn't work for mine, however I am still having anywhere from 1 - 3 accts deleted every month. I am consistent consistent consistent. They have throw the frivilous thning at me, but I keep disputing. Finally last month a whole batch went through. My credit reports have from many many pages to only a few.
There is no reason for anyone to get discouraged. keep trying.Chapter 7 Pro Se....Discharged Feb. 2006

Be very Careful I have been working on my spouse's Transunion and today they deleted everything but two accounts and said that he does not have enough to compute a score. before he had a 667 now nothing and I am clueless how this happened all i did was ask them to investigate one item and poof everything but two disappeared.

Ok, so this is still bothering me (not in a bad way, just one of those nagging things...) I called Equifax today and inquired about how a BK is investigated. I was told that it is done the same way as any creditor and depending on the court, it is done electronically. Then just for kicks I went onto the website and disputed mine. This is the response the system gave back to me, which explains the process...and it does state they send it to the courthouse and wait for a response. Here it is.....and I'll let you know how my little experiment goes....
