Cleaning up Credit Report

I had a credit card through MBNA and eventually Bank of America bought out MBNA taking over the credit card account. I filed Bankruptcy back in March. The credit card account is showing up Transferred/Sold on my credit report. I have disputed the account through Equifax as Inculded In Bankruptcy which was apart of my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. The other 2 Credit Reporting Agencies are reporting it as IIB. Equifax keeps saying it was verified and correct as shown. Also current status is showing charge off. I believe it should be showing IIB and not a charge off.

Can anyone tell me if I'm correct or incorrect with my belief that it should be reporting IIB. I did dispute with the other 2 CRA and they are showing IIB...Maybe Equifax want's to play hardball with me...

This might be a good thing....is is showing a zero balance and zero past due? And in status "Pays as agreed"?

The current status is showing charge off. The account was is also showing Transferred/Sold. Then I filed Bankruptcy to have it IIB. No collection agency has ever showed up for this account.

Nope, not a good thing!!! My mortgage company is balking at this right now beause it does not show that I included in my BK as I listed MBNA and now it says BOA and says Transferred/Sold instead of IIB. I'm not even sure when they changed. Now I have to get letters from them sayinig they used to be MBNA accounts.

How is it these creditors get away with reporting negative things on your credit multiple times under different creditors names, for the same account?! This should be against the law this is not fair or ethical!!!

If it wasn't charged off before you filed then it shouldn't show that now. If it was charged off and you included it in BK, it still should show charge off, zero balance and IIBK.
