Which is worse on your credit report.

When we filed bankruptcy we had an auto loan through Wells Fargo. We reafirmed the loan and finished paying the car off a few months after discharge.

Our credit reports have been showing this account as IIB, so we disputed. We want to buy a different vehicle next year.

On came back never late, IIB

The other deleted that trade line.

I'm beginning to think we aren't going to be able to get this to report properly. So which is worse - Never late, IIB or no auto loan showing on my credit report at all?

Because this would have been the only auto loan I ever had. All previous vehicles were older vehicles that I paid for in full when I bought them. This was the second vehicle my husband has ever financed.

One of my reports showed a scale of severity in regards to how it was reporting. My IIB accounts were reporting a 9 which is very bad, and my student loan was showing a 2 because I had 2 30-day lates. I would think that the IIB is worse. In fact, I reaffirmed a motorcycle and it was reporting IIB after my discharge. I disputed that and the IIB came off. Still showed some late payments a while ago but not IIB. FWIW.

I tend to think having the TL completely deleted is the way to go.
The only bad thing is that they can later re-insert, claim it was never paid, and then you've got a can of worms on your hands!
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

Well, I have the release of lein, so re-insertin and saying it was never paid shouldn't be a problem.
