Just a question. If you are in the middle of disputing items should you not apply for anything until the dispute is over? Didn't know if the dispute affected your chances of being approved or not. Anyone know? Thanks!

Hey Frankie - I hopefully will be discharged the first week of October, and was wondering - how did you get the Cap One with such a high credit limit ($3k)? Did they pull your credit from all 3 CRA's? And what is your annual fee?
If you can give the exact name of the card, i.e. "No Hassle Platinum One" or whatever they call it, would be great. Your credit score is probably close to what mine will be.
I have a couple of cards that will likely survive my bk, but the wife does not.
Thanks.Filed Business Chapter 7: 7/11/07

Hi Boscoe,
Actually, my jaw dropped when I opened the card and saw the limit. I was expecting $500 at best. I actually applied online to the card through an offer I got in the mail. There are no fees and they give you a $50 credit if you make a charge in each of the first four months. It is there platinum card. And they pulled all three of my credit reports. Good luck on your discharge!

That is great. But also check your credit reports to ensure they are reporting your credit limit. Will matter, as the credit limit as compared to your actual balance determines how much of your credit you are utilizing. Lower than 50% is good, above 70% is not - hurts your credit score.Filed Business Chapter 7: 7/11/07
