    Does this help rebuild credit?

I have a credit card with a 18,000 limit that had nothing on it when we filed. I did not include it in the BK...I assumed that they would yank it fast....nothing yet. We filed in April/discharged in June. I have been using the card for a small business I have....placing orders and paying it off weekly! LOL...I can not leave a balance...makes me a wreck!

Anyway...all of the lousy CC offers have been coming with their $500 limit and annual fee. My husband and I are unsure....do I need to do that to rebuild or is what i am doing with this card equal to what I could do with a crappy one? Wondering!!!
    Thanks!

If they have not cancelled it and your bk is discharged, I think you are home free....Use that one and wait a few months before trying for any others. With an $18k credit limit, why do you need anything else? consider yourself lucky. Most of my cc's have already been closed by the issuer.

If you haven't received a statement from them in a while, and you use it...be sure to check the interest rate. And don't charge more on the card than you can pay off in one payment.

You might also want to check your credit report to see if they are reporting to all 3 companies and how they're rating your account.

Did you retain a lawyer or filed pro se? A 341 meeting is the meeting of the Creditors with the trustee representing the creditors. Maybe one of the mods should move your thread to the appropriate forum perhaps Ch7 so that you can get better responses.

Then in this case, do you have an account set up in PACER? If so, check the status for your case, lots of information on how to use the PACER from this site. If you retained a lawyer, contact your lawyer with your concerns that you have been waiting for a discharge.
